A sample or measured-photo set can start the feasibility review, but the quotation must state which dimensions, interfaces and assumptions control production. A controlled drawing is preferred for repeat supply.
How are machining tolerances confirmed?+
Tolerance is reviewed by material, geometry, size, wall section, datum scheme and measurement condition. Critical functional dimensions are separated from general features in the quotation and inspection scope.
